Password Reset & Account Access

Locked out, changing your email, adding a teammate, or removing someone who's left.

🔐Reset your password

  1. Go to the login page and choose Forgot password.
  2. Enter the email address on your account — the exact one, including any dots or plus signs.
  3. Open the reset email and follow the link. It expires, so use it promptly.
  4. Set a new password and sign in.

The reset email didn't arrive

  • Check spam and any promotions tab.
  • Confirm you used the address the account was created with, not a forwarding alias.
  • Wait a few minutes before requesting again — repeated requests invalidate earlier links.
  • If your email is on a company domain, ask whoever manages it whether the message was filtered.
  • Still nothing? Contact support from the address on the account if you can.

🛡️Two-factor authentication

Turn it on for your own login and require it for every user you add. An account with your entire client database in it deserves more than a password.

Save your backup codes

Store them somewhere that isn't the phone running your authenticator. A lost phone with no backup codes means a manual identity verification before we can restore access, and that takes time.

✉️Changing the email on your account

Update it in your user profile. You'll need access to both the old and the new address to confirm the change. If you've already lost access to the old one, contact support — expect to verify your identity before the change is made.

👥Adding and removing users

Full detail is in Step 8 — User Access. The short version:

  • Add users with the narrowest permission set that lets them do their job. You can widen it later.
  • Never share one login between people. You lose the ability to tell who did what.
  • Remove access the same day someone leaves — not the same week.
  • Reassign their pipelines, conversations, and calendars before you remove them, not after.

🚨If you think your account was accessed by someone else

  1. Change your password immediately.
  2. Turn on two-factor authentication if it isn't already on.
  3. Review your user list and remove anyone you don't recognize.
  4. Check for workflows, forwarding rules, or integrations you didn't create.
  5. Contact support and tell us what you found and roughly when you think it started.
